About Us

Hey y'all!

We are Sheri and Emma Ledet, a mother daughter duo out of Houma, Louisiana bringing you sweet southern charm one stitch at a time! What started out as a mere dream quickly turned into a passion for creating meaningful pieces and custom designs for all.

We found our first embroidery machine on Facebook Marketplace in 2023 and began teaching ourselves everything we needed to know about the world of embroidery. After updating our She Shed we knew this would be the perfect place to grown this business.  We first began with small belt bags and makeup bags, and quickly realized we could create a business out of this. We attended our first pop-up at LSU Delta Zeta's Mocktails event that following fall and fell in love with meeting and connecting with customers.  We looked for more and more events to attend and started growing from there.  After year 1 we upgraded to our first multi-needle machine which was a game changer for our business. This allowed for us to create more intricate designs at a quicker pace.  We now have 2 multi needle machines (Bert and Ernie) and have grown in so many ways! our products have expanded, our customers are amazing, and we cannot wait to see where this business takes us next!

Sheri is an elementary PE Teacher with a passion for teaching and creativity.  She is a driven worker and the backbone of this business! Sheri handles designs and production and sometimes Emma can convince her to model.  Emma is a Marketing Manager for a local boutique with an eye for detail.  For That's Sew Bojo she handles all things social media, website, and inventory.  Together Sheri and Emma have an unbreakable bond that shows throughout all they do! They have always loved attending craft shows and had dreamed of having a booth at Southdown Marketplace one day. After starting That's Sew Bojo, they knew that dream could come true.  Attending Southdown in the fall of 2024 as a vendor was an amazing experience and a show we look forward to in both the spring and fall every year!

When thinking of names for this business we tossed around many ideas.  Finally it came down to the reason we were going to the She Shed everyday, our english bulldog, Bojo. Bojo was our best friend and loved to "go to work" in the She Shed.  He grew sick and passed in the summer of 2023.  We thought it only right to name our business after the pup that brought us so much joy and happiness.

That's Sew Bojo has been such a blessing and we can't wait to see where it tales us!

Thanks for following along!
